My name is Kevin Harrington. I started compiling this glossary of terms in 2001 while running a live music website, Josaka, that focussed on the Berkshire UK music scene. At the same time, I was promoting live events and I was the sound engineer for a band.
Wandering off-piste, delivering sound for a 40-voice soul choir with a 4-piece band, got me to understand the theory and best practices for live sound. Through these adventures and others, Testing 1212 was borne.
